On April 21, WoW will release its first post-launch content patch for Midnight. The 12.0.5 update includes several new activities, including Void Assaults, Ritual Sites, Decor Duels, Abyss Anglers, and more.

How to Get World of Warcraft: Midnight Patch 12.0.5 Twitch Drop
No World of Warcraft content update would be complete without a Twitch Drop, and Patch 12.0.5 delivers as well. A couple of days after the update goes live, players will be able to tune into any Twitch stream in the World of Warcraft category to earn the Cuddly Pearl Grrgle Housing decor item. Fans can earn this Murloc plush by watching four hours of these qualifying streams from April 23 until May 21.
- Connect Twitch and Battle.net accounts via the Connections page on Twitch.
- From April 23 at 3 PM PT to May 21 at 3 PM PT, watch four hours of any World of Warcraft channel on Twitch to earn the Cuddly Pearl Grrgle.
- Claim the drop from the Twitch inventory page.
- The decor plushie should be added to the Housing decor catalog within 24 hours.
- Additional copies can be purchased from Dennia Silvertongue in Silvermoon City, Tuuran in Stormwind, or Gabbi in Orgrimmar.
The Cuddly Pearl Grrgle is a white and pink version of several similar Cuddly Grrgle plushies that have been given out as previous Twitch Drops. The most recent one was the Cuddly Void Grrgle at the start of World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 1. Before that, the Cuddly Alliance Blue and Horde Red Grrgles were available for the release of Midnight, and the Cuddly Green Grrgle for the Midnight Pre-Patch.
That also makes the Cuddly Pearl Grrgle the fifth consecutive Twitch Drop that has been a Murloc plushie. However, according to the WoWDB Housing Hub, there are a total of 50 different colors of Cuddly Grrgles, 45 of which are not yet obtainable. It is unclear if World of Warcraft will continue to give these out purely through Twitch Drops, but if it does, it would have enough variants to last through every content update of Midnight, The Last Titan, and far beyond.

The next World of Warcraft Twitch Drop will probably arrive for the release of Patch 12.0.7, though Blizzard could surprise fans with another before then. This update has not been fully revealed yet, but it will include new story quests, Escalations for Void Assaults, a single-boss raid, and the return of the Turbulent Timeways Timewalking event. Most WoW updates arrive about eight weeks after the previous one, meaning Patch 12.0.7 could arrive on June 16. That said, WoW Patch 12.0.5 actually drops a mere seven weeks after Midnight’s release, so the update could arrive even earlier.
