The Trial of Style has returned to World of Warcraft, featuring new rewards, themes, and systems to accommodate the Transmog update. Fans can flaunt their fashion on the catwalk during this World of Warcraft event to earn both exclusive cosmetics and bragging rights.

Every March and August, World of Warcraft rolls out the red carpet for the Trial of Style, a fashion show mini-game. During this semiannual event, six players from a given faction are matched together, wherein they have two minutes to create outfits based on a random theme. Fans then vote for their favorite outfits and are judged in a series of rounds, earning Trial of Style Tokens based on placement and how popular their look was.

World of Warcraft Update is Making Changes to Multiple Classes

World of Warcraft is making some adjustments to multiple classes and specializations once Midnight’s Season 1 kicks off in full.

Trial of Style Fashion Show Returns to WoW for March 2026

Now, the Trial of Style is back; as before, players can queue into this mini-game from any Transmog NPC in most major cities. However, with the Transmog system overhaul in World of Warcraft: Midnight, things work a little differently. Instead of all Transmogging being free for the week, each character gets a Trial of Style outfit slot for the duration of the event. Saving Transmogs to this outfit is free, but the slot is temporary and will vanish once the event ends on March 27.

As players venture across the four zones of World of Warcraft: Midnight – Eversong Woods, Zul’Aman, Harandar, and Voidstorm – they will find eight new “Work It!” quests around major hubs. Additionally, several fresh outfit themes have been added to the Trial of Style event rotation.

  • Dungeon Dangers
  • Elemental Extremes
  • Mechanical Menace
  • Jungle Jam

A bunch of new items have been added to the Trial of Style vendors located inside the event instance and in Silvermoon. A cycle of Sepia Transmog items can now be purchased with Trial of Style Tokens, including Sweatsuit and Sorcerer’s Garb Ensembles, the Dunecloth Skirt, Belt, and Vest, and the Winter Toque. Additionally, players can pick up the coveted Silver Chainkini, the second variant of the highly anticipated chainmail bikini Transmog to appear in World of Warcraft.

Fans should be aware that the event seems to have launched with some bugs. Existing outfits cannot be accessed, and some players have reported issues applying Transmogs to their Trial of Style outfit at all. Additionally, the new rewards are not appearing at the vendors right now. Hopefully, this will all be fixed soon, but in the meantime, all Trial of Style rewards from previous years in World of Warcraft are still available, including the Sepia War Skirts and Shoulder Cape, the Well-Worn Tricorn, and 17 different colors of Banded War Legwraps.

Other Upcoming World of Warcraft Events

On March 31, shortly after the Trial of Style ends, World of Warcraft will begin Cataclysm Timewalking, the first Timewalking event since the release of Midnight. Then, on April 6, the World of Warcraft analog of Noblegarden will begin, likely with some new rewards of its own. Later that month, on April 27, the Children’s Week will return once more. If fans are lucky, they might see some new questlines like those added to World of Warcraft last year – especially since Salandria, the Blood Elf orphan from The Burning Crusade, is all grown up and appears as a quest-giver in Midnight.

Meanwhile, World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 1 is nearly in full swing, with the Heroic difficulties of the Voidspire and Dreamrift raids now active. The Mythic difficulties of these raids will open on March 24, with all difficulties of the March on Quel’Danas becoming available on March 31.
