WWE 2K26 Releases 1.03 Update

WWE 2K26 debuted its 1.03 patch on March 8, largely focusing on bug fixes and in-game stability. 2K confirmed it had addressed an issue with restarts not working properly when playing WWE 2K26‘s new 3 Stages of Hell matches. Among the other bug fixes mentioned by 2K within the patch notes were images not mapping correctly in Create mode, instability related to the leaderboard in Island mode, and custom superstars not loading properly in community creations. WWE 2K26 cited general stability and performance improvements across the board as well. The patch is already live on most versions of WWE 2K26, with the Switch 2 update confirmed to arrive at a later date.

The WWE 2K26 update’s patch notes are light on specifics, with many of the changes focusing on improving the overall stability of the game. Early reviews of the game have largely been positive about the core wrestling gameplay within WWE 2K26, with many feeling that the WWE franchise’s main gameplay continues to improve each year. The game’s many modes have seen some criticism for a lack of meaningful changes from previous entries, though the game has still seen praise for the amount of content for players to experience.

WWE 2K26‘s playable roster saw notable upgrades as well, including some big additions to the franchise for the first time. 2K officially added several wrestlers from Lucha Libre AAA to the franchise for the first time, with stars like El Hijo del Vikingo, Mr. Iguana, and Psycho Clown in the first Ringside Pass. The developer has also shown some wrestlers that will be added to the game in future seasons, with Season 3 confirmed to be adding Matt Cardona, Brian Pillman, and La Parka in June. The game includes a sizable default roster to choose from as well, featuring 200 different WWE Superstars.
