In another video, NXT superstar Lexis King announced that his late father, the legendary Brian Pillman, would be part of Ringside Pass Season 3. Nicknamed “The Loose Cannon,” Pillman was known for his high-octane moves and electric personality in WCW, ECW, and WWE. This will be the first time in 10 years that Pillman will be featured in a WWE game, as his last appearance was in WWE 2K17. King, who is also part of WWE 2K26‘s roster, also said that he wanted players to make him and his father a team so they can win the tag team championship titles in-game.
Lastly, luchador La Parka from AAA also announced that he will be part of WWE 2K26‘s Ringside Pass Season 3, making this the first time that the wrestler will be featured in a WWE game. This iteration of La Parka is portrayed by Brazo de Oro Jr. (II), who is the third luchador to carry the name following the death of the original La Parka in 2020. WWE has an ongoing partnership with Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, or AAA for short, which is why several wrestlers from the brand, like Mr. Iguana and El Hijo Del Vikingo, are part of WWE 2K26‘s confirmed roster.
WWE 2K26 is already setting up to be an exciting title with the inclusion of many beloved superstars in WWE and even its partner promotions, and gameplay features that keep the action going. WWE 2K26‘s cover star and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is also receiving a lot of attention this year as the headliner of The Island, and he’s also getting a special CM Punk Showcase where fans can relive some of his most memorable matches in WWE. Plus, WWE 2K26 promised improved gameplay across the board to give players a smooth experience in every match, allowing them to live out their wrestling dreams in video game format.
