An Xbox Partner Preview broadcast has been officially announced for Thursday, March 26. This Xbox Partner Preview broadcast will feature new updates from Stranger Than Heaven, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, as well as “first looks and announcements” from other games heading to Xbox consoles, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.
In October 2023, Xbox debuted a new broadcast format titled “Partner Preview.” This showcase was designed specifically to highlight Xbox’s third-party partners, encompassing both AAA studios and indie developers. Since October 2023, Xbox has hosted four of these Partner Preview events, with the latest airing in November 2025. This most recent Xbox Partner Preview delivered world premieres for Vampire Crawlers, Armatus, and Raji: Kaliyuga, and teased DLC for Dave the Diver and Hitman: World of Assassination. Prior showcases have featured titles like Alan Wake 2, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, The Alters, Final Fantasy 14, and Persona 3 Reload.

Xbox Partner Preview Confirmed for March 26
- Airs March 26 at 10am PT / 1pm ET
On Thursday, March 26, Xbox will air its fifth Partner Preview. The broadcast will air at 10am PT, 1pm ET, and 5pm GMT, and will be available to watch on both YouTube and Twitch via Xbox’s official channels. In the Xbox Wire announcement of the event, Xbox confirmed the three titles that are headlining this Partner Preview.
The first of these is Stranger Than Heaven. Initially given the codename “Project Century,” Stranger Than Heaven is being developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the same developer behind both the Like a Dragon and Judgment series. Stranger Than Heaven was first officially unveiled during the 2024 Game Awards and was given a story trailer during Summer Game Fest 2025. The upcoming Xbox Partner Preview will reportedly feature an “in-depth look” at the game.
The second game confirmed to be appearing at the March 2026 Xbox Partner Preview is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Originally released back in November 2024 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and then ported to PS5 exactly one year later, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a first-person survival horror game set in a post-apocalyptic version of the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Though some severe technical issues significantly impacted its reception among critics and fans at launch, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has come a long way in the last few years thanks to plenty of post-launch support. It seems developer GSC Game World isn’t done supporting its game, with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 set to receive “an update” during the Xbox Partner Preview.
The last game officially confirmed for the next Xbox Partner Preview is The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. Announced during the June 2025 Future Games Expo, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is an upcoming action-RPG inspired by the Sci-Fi novel series of the same name. This ambitious adaptation is being developed and published by Owlcat Games, a studio best known for its work on Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
Xbox’s announcement of this Partner Preview also teases that other “brand-new reveals, world premieres, and Xbox Game Pass announcements” will be shown during the event. Given the showcase’s focus on third-party partners and its previous track record, Xbox fans probably shouldn’t expect any super high-profile secret reveals during this Partner Preview, especially not from any first-party studio. Gears of War: E-Day and Halo: Campaign Evolved, for instance, almost certainly aren’t going to make an appearance.
