Xbox Game Pass subscribers won’t have long to play some of the best games in the service’s library before they leave on September 30. A total of eight games are confirmed to be removed from Xbox Game Pass next week, including some award-winning titles. While Game Pass regularly cycles through available titles, subscribers will want to act fast to experience as many of these games as possible before they become unavailable.
The value of Xbox Game Pass has been called into question in 2026, after the service cut its prices at the cost of day-one Call of Duty games and new limits on Cloud Gaming. While Game Pass still has tons of high-quality games available to subscribers, the titles on offer are only available for a limited time, as new Game Pass games are removed each month to make room for new additions. The end of September will see multiple popular games disappear from the Game Pass library, including one that would have been perfect for spooky season.
Atomfall, Sifu, Little Nightmares 2, and More Are Leaving Game Pass Next Week
Even after Xbox Game Pass lost 10 games on September 15, there are still eight more slated for removal before the end of the month. These games are listed as leaving soon on their Game Pass pages, with the official date of their departure being September 30. Players still have a little over a week to play these games, many of which are totally beatable in that time:

- Sifu (Console, PC, Cloud) — Time to Beat: 8 Hours
- SOPA Tale of the Stolen Potato (Console, PC, Cloud) — Time to Beat: 3 Hours
- Sworn (Console, PC, Cloud) — Time to Beat: 10.5 Hours
- Terminull Brigade (Console, PC, Cloud) — Time to Beat: 4.5 Hours
One of the best games leaving Game Pass on September 30 is the 2025 post-apocalyptic survival game Atomfall. This game flew under the radar of many players, but is one of the best games like Fallout to come out in the past few years, letting players uncover the truth behind a nuclear disaster in the British countryside. And at only 10.5 hours required to beat the main story, Game Pass subscribers can definitely finish Atomfall before it leaves the service next week.
Other highly-rated games like Sifu and Little Nightmares 2 are also easily beatable before they leave Game Pass. Sifu takes around eight hours to complete the main story, while Little Nightmares 2 can be finished in just over 5 hours. It’s unfortunate that a spooky puzzle-platformer like Little Nightmares 2 is leaving Game Pass right before October starts, but players should be able to still experience it to kick off the Halloween season.
It’s not all bad news for service, as subscribers can look forward to several new games hitting Xbox Game Pass in October. Major day-one releases like Gears of War: E-Day and Valor Mortis are coming next month, alongside other exciting games like The Seance of Blake Manor, Chained Beasts, and more.
