- Xbox Game Pass had an impressive start to the year with games like Resident Evil 2 Remake and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
- The selection for the rest of February is sparse, with only three smaller titles confirmed.
- There is hope for high-profile releases this month, including Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered and Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster.
Though it wasn’t the greatest month in Xbox Game Pass‘ 7-year-long history, January 2024 did still mark an impressive start to the year for the subscription service. From heavy hitters like Resident Evil 2 Remake and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to more surprising hits like Hell Let Loose and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, Xbox Game Pass’ January 2024 line-up started the year off strong, and February has already continued that momentum with the incredibly well-reviewed Persona 3 Reload.
But things are looking a little bare for the rest of Xbox Game Pass’ February 2024 selection. At the time of writing, there are only three other games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass this February, with those being smaller titles like Anuchard, A Little to the Left, and PlateUp!. While an announcement for Xbox Game Pass is probably imminent, there’s still time to hope and wish for a few high-profile releases this month, ranging from upcoming games that would be perfectly suited for Game Pass, to some hidden 2023 gems.

Xbox Game Pass New Game for February 2024: Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered
Releasing on February 14 2024, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered would be a pretty sizable pull for Xbox Game Pass this month. Being developed and published by Aspyr, a company well known for its many ports and remasters, especially its many classic Star Wars remasters, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered looks like it’ll be another solid release from the company. It will come with all three original Tomb Raider games being given shiny new visuals, and the player being given the option to switch between the classic “tank” control scheme and a more modern one.
Xbox Game Pass New Game for February 2024: Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster
Ironically a Star Wars remaster not being developed by Aspyr, Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster takes the 1995 classic and finally gives it a new lick of paint. Being developed by Nightdive Studios, the same developer behind the recently released System Shock remake, Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster doesn’t look like it’ll have too many new bells and whistles, but it does seem like it could be the definitive way to play the first chapter in fan-favorite character Kyle Katarn’s story, and a release on Xbox Game Pass this month would be great to see.
Xbox Game Pass New Game for February 2024: El Paso, Elsewhere
A game that wears its Blade and Max Payne inspirations on its sleeve, El Paso, Elsewhere was one of 2023’s best hidden gems, earning a great critical reception but failing to really hit the mainstream. Xbox Game Pass could give El Paso, Elsewhere a major second wind, especially with the February 2024 line-up being a little quieter right now. In terms of gameplay, El Paso, Elsewhere feels like a modern-day classic Max Payne game, with players being able to stylishly dive through the air in slow-motion, gunning down vampiric foes with dual pistols.
Xbox Game Pass New Game for February 2024: Resident Evil 3 Remake
One of the best additions to Xbox Game Pass in January 2024 was Resident Evil 2 Remake, and Game Pass has a golden opportunity right now to continue that success by adding Resident Evil 3 Remake this month. Though it’s incredibly short, Resident Evil 3 Remake is still a high-quality remake and an absolute must-play for fans of the franchise.
