The April 30 departures also include Endless Legend 2, the long-awaited sequel to Amplitude Studios’ 2014 4X strategy game. The title had the shortest stint on the service among the batch, having only been added in September 2025. As a day-one release, it was limited to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for the majority of its stay on the platform. In the end, Xbox Game Pass Premium subscribers were given only three weeks to play Endless Legend 2.

Nine removals make today’s catalog update the single biggest round of departures since March 31, 2025, when Xbox Game Pass lost ten titles. Combined with the previous mid-month removals, the latest batch brings April 2026’s total to 14 games. That makes it the platform’s largest monthly exodus since April 2025, when the same number of titles left the library. The last month that had even more games leaving was March 2025, with 17 removals.

Despite the sizable wave of departures, April 2026 will still be a net positive for the Xbox Game Pass catalog. While today’s removals will offset all additions from the first 29 days of the month, four more day-one games are scheduled to arrive on April 30: TerraTech Legion, Inkonbini, Sledding Game, and Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era.
