Microsoft’s subscription service adds new perks on a near-weekly basis, with many available across multiple tiers. Nevertheless, Ultimate subscribers are typically treated to at least one substantial batch of exclusive benefits each month, with their incentives typically combining recurring offers such as Fortnite Crew and more limited-time deals. With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate unexpectedly receiving a permanent price cut on April 21, its value proposition has been significantly improved, with Microsoft now looking to reinforce its renewed appeal with a fresh batch of membership benefits.

Xbox Game Pass Adds New Perks for April 2026
The new offers cover more than 15 additional games, with claim windows running from April 29 through July 30. Highlights include The Division 2‘s Battleworn Secret Service Pack, Sea of Thieves‘ Lustrous Legend Eye of Reach skin, and Call of Duty: Warzone‘s Game Pass Pack 6, the last of which is available through July 30. A one-month Discord Nitro offer is also available through April 2, 2027, for subscribers who have not had an active Nitro account in the past year. Skate’s 30-item Supercharge Pack that was last available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers in late 2025 is also back in the rotation.
Meanwhile, the recently downgraded Fortnite Crew perk now gives Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers 800 V-Bucks per month, down 20% from its previous 1,000 V-Bucks grant. Epic Games implemented the change on March 19 as part of a wider Fortnite economy rebalancing that the developer framed as an alternative to direct price increases. Apart from V-Bucks, the April 2026 Fortnite Crew sub comes with Fae Fishtail Bling, Darksea Trident Pickaxe, and Sakara Outfit.

Most of the new perks can be claimed through the “My Benefits” section of the Xbox Game Pass app on any platform. Free-to-play titles like Albion Online and FragPunk are an exception, with their subscriber bonuses activating automatically upon launch. Ultimate members also receive a batch of EA Play rewards that require no claim step, currently including a Deployment Pack for Battlefield 6, an F1 25 XP boost available until April 30, and multiple NHL 26 in-game bundles.

While the Discord Nitro offer included in the latest perk batch is far from unprecedented, it may soon be expanded. Specifically, one avid data-miner has uncovered references to an unannounced Xbox Game Pass tier called “Starter Edition” inside a recent Discord release. The new membership category will allegedly offer a content catalog similar to that of Xbox Game Pass Essential, but with a month-long Discord Nitro subscription and 10 hours of Xbox Cloud Gaming instead of unlimited streaming.
