007 First Light isn’t out until next month, but players can get a Casino Suit for James Bond by playing through a special event now available for free in Hitman World of Assassination. An origin story for Bond, 007 First Light offers a younger take on the character than fans have seen in most media. In this continuity, Bond has yet to reach 00 status, and the story will follow him through some early growing pains.
While IO Interactive is best known as the developer of the Hitman franchise, 007 First Light seems to borrow from the Uncharted series. The gameplay shown so far has drawn multiple comparisons, thanks to its emphasis on stealth and action. Given the high regard Uncharted is held in by many gamers, it wouldn’t be a bad thing if the game ends up borrowing a lot from its inspiration. However, the developers will still have to create something that feels authentic to the world of James Bond.

To celebrate IO Interactive’s next game, Hitman World of Assassination players can unlock 007 First Light‘s Casino Suit. Through May 25, Hitman players will be able to play the elusive target mission for Le Chiffre for free. Doing so will unlock the Casino Suit in 007 First Light when the game is released on May 27. Le Chiffre was introduced in Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale, and the character was portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen in the 2006 adaptation of the same name. Mikkelsen has reprised the role for Hitman World of Assassination, and players can try to bring him down as Agent 47. However, just entering the mission is enough to unlock the bonus in 007 First Light.
Normally, Le Chiffre can only be fought in Hitman World of Assassination through The Banker Pack DLC. For the next few weeks, IO Interactive is offering it free to all players once again, likely as a way to build awareness around 007 First Light‘s impending release. This should make people happy who missed the previous opportunity. Only players who have an IO Interactive account can get the suit, and players can make sure they’ve fulfilled the requirements by checking the rewards and bonuses tab on their account page.
The new James Bond game will be released on May 27 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. 007 First Light was delayed on Nintendo Switch 2, and the game will now be released “later this summer.” An exact date has not been revealed just yet, but hopefully, fans won’t be kept waiting too long. Bond has a long history on Nintendo platforms, going back to the days of GoldenEye 007 on N64. GoldenEye is still widely considered the best James Bond game ever made, and IO Interactive will have a tough job dethroning the fan favorite.

Le Chiffre might be one of Bond’s greatest enemies, but a new one will be introduced in IO Interactive’s upcoming game. 007 First Light has Bond facing the villain Bawma, who will be voiced by musician and actor Lenny Kravitz. It remains to be seen whether Bawma will prove as memorable as some of the all-time greats, but Bond fans won’t have to wait too much longer to see how he stacks up.
