PC gamers can claim another freebie from the Epic Games Store and keep it forever as long as they claim it before November 1. The Epic Games Store is already offering several free games for users to claim right now, including some spooky titles perfect for the Halloween season. Gamers looking for a fun social deduction experience to enjoy with up to 15 other players can add Mafia Hotel to their Epic Games library for a limited time.
The Epic Games Store’s free game offerings have become a long-running tradition as the platform aims to compete with PC storefront rival Steam. Although the company has come under fire from some users recently for an AI vibe-coded update to the Epic Games launcher, it’s hard to beat the low price of free when trying to grow a library of PC games. As such, PC gamers have a number of good reasons to log into the Epic Games Store before these free game deals expire.

Fans of co-op or social deduction games like Among Us have the perfect freebie to grab on the Epic Games Store right now. Mafia Hotel from developer ALMNHALI is available for users to claim and add to their library permanently, but only until November 1. This Mafia Hotel giveaway is not part of the other October 2026 Epic Games freebie lineup, so users will have a bit more time to claim the game before this deal expires.
Similar to other social deduction games, Mafia Hotel pits 16 players against each other in an effort to uncover the killer, who aims to get away with their crimes. Each night, the players who are Mafia will enter the hotel rooms of innocent players and murder them, leading to the second phase of the game, where surviving players head to the hotel bar to discuss who they believe the culprits are. Other player roles in Mafia Hotel include the Doctor, who can protect a player during the night, and the Detective, who can start investigating during the night.
While Mafia Hotel is typically only priced at $1.99, social deduction game fans itching for a new party game to play with friends can’t do much better than free. Meanwhile, the other free games available on the Epic Games Store right now include:
- Home – A Unique Horror Adventure (Ends October 29)
- Sker Ritual (Ends October 29)
- GetHigh.EXE (Ends November 2)
- Terraspace (Ends October 27)
Epic Games Store users looking for a free game or two for the Halloween season can pick up both Home – A Unique Horror Adventure and Sker Ritual for free until October 29. Home is a pixel art adventure game, while Sker Ritual is a round-based multiplayer FPS. The final free Epic Games Store game giveaway for October 2026 has also been confirmed as Sorry, We’re Closed, which will become available on October 29.
