Epic Games Store Officially Reveals Its Final Free Game for April 2026

The Epic Games Store has officially revealed Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure as its free game for April 30, when it will debut alongside one other offer. The cozy automation game will be the seventh and final title that Epic Games Store users can claim free of charge in April 2026.

Developed by German studio Massive Miniteam and published by HandyGames, Oddsparks is a genre hybrid that blends elements of a fantasy factory simulation game and real-time strategy, requiring players to engage with everything from automation logistics to some light adventuring. It was originally revealed in August 2023 and released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in May 2025. HandyGames has consistently advertised it as an accessible title for “automation-curious players” that is easy to pick up while still offering enough optional complexity for genre veterans who enjoy optimizing.

Which is Better? Steam’s Free-to-Keep Promotion vs. Epic Games Store’s Weekly Free Games

The Epic Games Store is renowned for its free game giveaways, but how do they compare to the free games given away on Steam, its biggest competitor?

Epic Games Store Will Give Away Oddsparks for the First Time Ever Next Week

As soon as the Epic Games Store’s Stone of Madness giveaway came to an end, the digital marketplace officially announced Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure as its next freebie. The colorful title will be free to claim from April 30 at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET / 5 p.m. CET. Users will have until May 7 to add it to their accounts. The upcoming promotion will mark the first time ever that Oddsparks, typically priced at $29.99, is free to claim on the Epic Games Store.

Separately, Epic has also prepared yet another Firestone item bundle for April 30. Valued at over $100, the new freebie includes multiple types of premium currency (Chests, Strange Dust, Scrolls, Gems, and Tokens) for the popular idle RPG, together with several cosmetics, namely two character profile avatars and “The Grove Guardian” skin for hero Luana. Similar Firestone bundles were available to Epic Games Store users in April 2025 and May 2024.

Epic Games Store Free Games Right Now

Oddsparks will bring the total value of the Epic Games Store’s free games for April 2026 to more than $130. As is typically the case with multi-edition titles offered to Epic Games Store users, only the base edition of Oddsparks will be included in the upcoming promotion. That said, its handful of themed DLC packs are currently discounted by between 20% and 25%, with the sale set to run until May 7, the last day to claim the game itself.

Ahead of the April 30 promotion, Epic Games Store users are now able to claim Doomblade, a 2023 metroidvania from Finnish developer Muro Studios. Much like Oddsparks, Doomblade currently holds “Very Positive” player reviews on Steam, albeit based on a significantly smaller sample size: 271 reviews, compared with 1,796 for Oddsparks.
