PowerWash Simulator 2 has just announced an official crossover with Star Wars. This upcoming PowerWash Simulator 2 paid DLC will add six new jobs to the game, each of which will take place in a distinct location inspired by the original Star Wars trilogy.
The sequel to the 2022 cult hit, PowerWash Simulator 2 launched for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S back in October of last year. While the core gameplay loop of PowerWash Sim 2 follows very closely in the footsteps of its predecessor, it makes a range of subtle yet significant improvements that lead to a much smoother, more enjoyable experience overall, at least according to the critics that reviewed the sequel upon its launch. PowerWash Simulator 2 currently sits at a Top Critic Average of 84 on OpenCritic, with a recommendation score of 91%, granting it a “Mighty” rating.

PowerWash Simulator 2 Is Getting Star Wars DLC This Summer
Announced via a short 30-second teaser trailer, PowerWash Simulator 2 is officially getting a Star Wars crossover DLC in Summer 2026. While there’s no exact release date just yet, developer FuturLab has confirmed that PowerWash Sim 2‘s Star Wars DLC will cost $9.99 at launch. Those in Europe can expect to pay €9.99, while those in the UK will pay £7.99, and those in Japan will pay ¥1,100.
In the upcoming Star Wars x PowerWash Simulator 2 pack, players will assume the role of PO-W2, a Class Five cleaning droid that’s been commandeered by the Empire. Over the course of six jobs, PO-W2 will go from cleaning out Imperial facilities to joining the Rebellion and helping to clean their messes. These six jobs will take players to an array of iconic locations inspired by the original Star Wars trilogy, including the bridge of a Star Destroyer, the sand-covered Lars Homestead, the icy fields of Hoth, and a Rebel Alliance hangar filled with instantly-recognizable ships.
Though those are the only official details given at this time, it’s highly likely that this Star Wars pack will follow in the footsteps of previous PowerWash Simulator DLCs and include at least a handful of new washers that fit the Star Wars universe’s unique aesthetic (at least one can be spotted in the announcement trailer). It’s also possible that this PowerWash x Star Wars DLC will include additional cosmetics inspired by the franchise’s characters, though that hasn’t been officially confirmed and is pure speculation at this point.
