The incredible set of Pokemon promos is expected to be a hot item for fans following its release. The original wave of First Partner Collection boxes was a highly sought-after item for many Pokemon collectors, particularly for its inclusion of the three Kanto starters. Each of the Kanto starters has fetched significant resale value on the secondary market as well, with the Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle cards all boasting price tags of more than $20.
Pokemon‘s second wave of starter promos will likely be followed by one more version of the First Partner Collection. The Pokemon TCG is expected to launch Series 3 of the First Partner Collection later in 2026, rounding out the set with promos of the Hoenn, Kalos, and Paldea starters. The Pokemon promo cards should take plenty of cues from the previous versions, setting Pokemon like Mudkip and Fennekin against some of the most recognizable locations in their regions. Though Pokemon has not officially revealed the release date for the final iteration of the First Partner Collection, Series 3 is likely to be released in August or September, given the gap between the first two.
