LEGO has just officially revealed 12 brand-new Pokemon sets, all of which are compatible with LEGO’s Smart Brick technology. These new LEGO sets bring a total of 20 iconic Pokemon to brick-built life, including fan-favorites like Gengar, Charizard, Cubone, Jolteon, Mew, and Mewtwo.
Unveiled at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show, the LEGO Smart Brick is a 2×4 block that contains a high-tech chip no larger than a single LEGO stud. This chip reacts with special LEGO Smart Tag pieces, producing distinct lights and noises when in close proximity with the tile. All of these newly-announced LEGO Pokemon sets are compatible with LEGO Smart Play technology, with each Pokemon coming with its own Smart Tag tile that evokes distinct noises and play features. Users can also access a new Battle play feature when shaking two Smart Brick Pokemon together.
