Reckless Ben Says He Can’t Release Third Part Of Lego Investigation

Reckless Ben’s investigation into the Mansell family’s missing $200,000 Lego Star Wars collection has hit a seemingly immovable force, as he’s announced that he’s now no longer able to release the third and final part of his series regarding Lego resellers Bricks & Minifigs after being served a TRO (temporary restraining order) by the Utah Fourth Judicial District Court.

The last time we left Reckless Ben’s Lego investigation, things were seemingly looking up for both Ben and the Mansell family. The CEO of Patreon stepped in to personally ensure that Reckless Ben’s content would remain on the platform, unredacted bodycam footage of American Fork Police Department’s involvement had allegedly leaked online, and the GoFundMe set up to reimburse the Mansell family for their missing Lego Star Wars collection had reached over $450,000.

Given the way things seemed to be going, Ben’s fans are understandably not too happy about the latest development in his crusade against Bricks & Minifigs Franchising (BAMF). As Ben explained in the latest video on his channel, published earlier today on June 9, a judge has allowed BAMF to serve him with legal papers via his email address, which means he can no longer publish (or even talk about) the final part of his investigation.

As Ben explained in his latest video, releasing Part 3 of his investigation wouldn’t just get him in legal trouble, it would also result in the loss of the Mansell family’s GoFundMe: “Normally I would be like, ‘screw the big guy telling me what to do, I’m gonna do what’s morally right.’ But, in this situation, if I do that, then all my friends get screwed with this lawsuit, and we lose all this GoFundMe money we raised, like, immediately.”

He’s not bluffing either, as the TRO, dated May 28, 2026, specifically states that Ben can no longer release any videos relating to Bricks & Minifigs Franchising. In fact, it specifically states that even Ben’s previous videos may be removed as well, due to the fact that they contain information that relates “to the private legal dispute underlying this matter between Bryan [Mansell] and Chrystal [Law, one of the previous owners of the Bricks & Minifigs location in Salem, Oregon] and the assertions of wrongdoing as described in this Verified Complaint.”

Still, I have a feeling this isn’t the end for Reckless Ben’s investigation. After all, he doesn’t seem like the type to let something like a court-issued TRO stop him. Considering the CEO of Patreon was so keen to help last week, maybe he could post it on Ben’s behalf?
