Battlefield Studios has scheduled a limited-time free-to-play week for Battlefield 6, which is about to receive one of its biggest updates since launch. Starting on June 30, alongside Battlefield 6‘s upcoming content update, players on all platforms will have until July 6 to download and play the game completely free of charge. However, it’s worth noting that some players will need to install Battlefield REDSEC to take advantage of the promotion. The developer’s official announcement states, “Requires Battlefield REDSEC on applicable platform (available separately) and all game updates.” This also suggests that players must install the June 30 update to access the free trial.
