New Official 0 Star Wars Jedi Release Confirmed for Fall 2026

Star Wars has always had a strange ability to make even its most ordinary soldiers feel iconic. Stormtroopers might be the most recognizable cannon fodder in science fiction, but games like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have given some of the Empire’s more specialized forces a chance to stand out. Cal Kestis spends much of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor being hunted by an Empire that has become increasingly desperate to eliminate him, forcing him to fight everything from standard Stormtroopers to more specialized threats.

Jedi: Survivor also left fans with one particularly frustrating problem: the wait for Cal Kestis’ next Star Wars game. Respawn’s sequel expanded on practically everything that made Jedi: Fallen Order work, giving Cal bigger worlds, more lightsaber styles, new abilities, and a much more personal story. Now, with fans still waiting for the third game to properly continue Cal’s story, there is still plenty of interest in the characters and enemies that made Star Wars Jedi: Survivor memorable. The next chapter may be a ways off (or not, Respawn has not yet commented on the game), but Star Wars collectors have another way to bring a piece of that game home.

Star Wars Zero Company Review

With great presentation, a well-written story, and rock-solid fundamentals, Star Wars Zero Company is one of the best Star Wars games in years.

Star Wars Jedi’s Jetpack Trooper Gets Its Own Figure

  • Pre-Order on Sideshow (While Supplies Last)

    • Expected to ship between September and December 2026
  • Only 2,000 units are being made
  • There’s a 1-per-person purchase limit

That comes in the form of a new Hot Toys Jetpack Trooper figure, which is now available to preorder from Sideshow for $270. That is a pretty significant asking price for a single figure, but Hot Toys is also limiting the release to just 2,000 units. The figure is based specifically on the Jetpack Troopers encountered in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, giving collectors a chance to add one of the Empire’s airborne soldiers to their shelves while everyone eagerly awaits news on Star Wars Jedi 3.

The sixth-scale figure stands at approximately 30 centimeters tall and features 30 points of articulation, along with a newly crafted helmeted head and weathered white armor. It comes with seven interchangeable gloved hands, an E-11 blaster rifle, a white utility belt, boots, and the black undersuit worn beneath the armor. The weathering is particularly important here, as it helps the figure look less like a pristine Stormtrooper toy and more like something that actually belongs in the worn-down galaxy of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The $270 figure also comes with the equipment that makes this particular Stormtrooper different from the average Imperial grunt. Its jetpack attaches magnetically to the figure and includes translucent exhaust flame effects, while additional tubes can connect to either the jetpack or the breathing device on the chest plate. A thermal detonator can also be attached to the utility belt, and the set includes a specially designed Star Wars display stand. Sideshow currently expects the figure to ship between September and December 2026.

At $270, the Jetpack Trooper is obviously aimed at serious Star Wars collectors, especially considering the 1-per-person purchase limit and 2,000-unit production run. Still, there is something appealing about a figure based on one of Jedi: Survivor‘s more distinctive Stormtroopers arriving while fans continue waiting to see where Cal’s story goes next. Jedi: Survivor gave these Imperial soldiers a memorable design in Cal’s journey, at least more than the average Stormtrooper type, and Hot Toys is turning one of them into a centerpiece for collectors who are willing to pay the premium.
