From the moment 4-year-old Cameron first stepped out into Glimmer in Spyro 2, he knew video games were going to play a central role in the rest of his life. Though he never planned to make it the focal point of his career, Cameron spent the vast majority of his spare time growing up playing games, and following graduation from the University of Reading, he thought he’d try his hand at writing a few reviews. Maneater 2, the sequel to the 2020 ‘ShaRkPG’, was just announced during the September PlayStation State of Play. Currently set to release sometime in 2027, Maneater 2 will once again see players embody an ever-growing bull shark, and this time, they’ll be let loose on a massive ultra-luxury private resort.
Maneater 2 Announced for PS5
Announced during the most recent State of Play, Maneater 2 is trading the bayou, lakes, and metropolitan area of its predecessor for one grand location. Called ‘Neptune’s Kingdom’, this Ancient Rome-inspired private island theme park will be the next Maneater‘s playground. Here, players will be able to snatch guests from rollercoasters, chow down on those relaxing on the lazy river, and get a bite to eat at the various pool-side bars of the resort.
