It’s rare that Warcraft fans are treated to a new release in the franchise, so when one arrives, it’s always something to savor. There’s good news and bad news, after a new official Warcraft release was recently confirmed for an early 2027 launch, albeit with a huge $400 price tag.
With the long-term success of World of Warcraft, the Warcraft franchise continues to thrive. Its most recent release was World of Warcraft: Midnight, the eleventh expansion for the MMORPG which launched in March 2026. Expansions have arrived on a two-year cycle since 2008, ensuring players always know when to expect new in-game content. Now, a surprise new Warcraft release is set to drop next year, and it’s probably not one fans are expecting.
Warcraft’s Valeera Sanguinar Returns in New $400 HEX Collectibles Statue
Coming via HEX Collectibles, a new Valeera Sanguinar 1/6 scale statue is now available for pre-order on Sideshow. The statue is actually based on her appearance in Blizzard’s popular card game Hearthstone, despite her being best known for her appearances in World of Warcraft, most recently playing a prominent role in the Midnight expansion as a Delve companion. In this statue, the Blood Elf is shown with what is described as “a striking presence,” and at 15 inches tall, it’s quite the addition to any gaming collection. However, its $400 price tag means that it doesn’t come cheap. While pre-orders are open now, the Valeera Sanguinar statue isn’t expected to ship until between January and March 2027. .

Where this HEX Collectibles Warcraft Valeera Sanguinar statue really shines is in the small details. It’s obvious that HEX Collectibles has done an incredible job bringing the Blood Elf to life with this statue, and the detailed base is a nice touch. However, it’s not so immediately clear the statue has built-in LED lighting for the head sculpt, which illuminates her bright green eyes. Her dagger blades and the rock crevices on the base have also been treated with special fluorescent paint which glows under UV light. The $400 price tag puts it right in line with other premium gaming collectibles, but with details like this, it’s easy to see why.

HEX Collectibles is perhaps better known for its anime statues across multiple huge IPs, but it also has a fruitful collaboration with Blizzard. It has an extensive range of Hearthstone collectibles, and has also delved into the world of Diablo of late. It’s always cool to see more manufacturers jumping into the world of high-end video game collectibles, and Warcraft fans should certainly keep their eyes on HEX Collectibles.
As for World of Warcraft, Blizzard continues to expand on the Midnight expansion with new updates on a fairly regular basis. BlizzCon is being held later this month, so it will be interesting to see what the developer has up its sleeves for the MMORPG, especially on the back of Midnight‘s release. It promises to be an exciting time for fans, and in the meantime, there’s this Valeera Sanguinar statue to look forward to.
