Assassin’s Creed fans with $2,999 to spare can soon add an enormous Edward Kenway collectible to their collections, as PureArts has unveiled a new 1/2-scale statue based on Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The premium statue is limited to just 500 units worldwide and is expected to arrive in Q2 2027, making it a particularly expensive way to celebrate the overall franchise’s upcoming 20th anniversary (AC1 released in 2007).
While Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is the latest release in the franchise, it’s worth noting that Ubisoft has a full slate of new Assassin’s Creed games planned. The big one, believed to release in 2026, is Assassin’s Creed Hexe—a game set in Witch Hunt, Germany. It’ll cost the standard game price, however, and produce more than 500 units, so it’s less collector-driven than the newly announced PureArts statue.
Assassin’s Creed is Clearly Celebrating Its 20th Anniversary in 2027
The nearly $3,000 price tag puts the Edward Kenway statue firmly in the realm of high-end collectibles, though PureArts is offering a 16-month payment plan for buyers who would prefer to spread out the cost. Each statue is individually numbered and comes with a matching certificate of authenticity, adding to its appeal as a limited-edition piece instead of a standard Assassin’s Creed collectible.

PureArts has also loaded the statue with details intended to justify its premium price. Edward Kenway is depicted in a battle-ready stance with his cutlass drawn and flintlock pistol in hand, while his portrait uses silicone skin, glass eyes, and individually punched hair. Edward Kenway’s Assassin outfit is recreated using premium fabrics, leather, metal accessories, and additional textiles, giving the character a considerably more elaborate appearance than a typical polyresin statue.
PureArts is clearly selling this as a collectible from the recent release of AC Black Flag Resynced, but also as a celebration of the franchise’s 20th anniversary. While this particular statue is focused on Black Flag and Edward Kenway, its planned Q2 2027 delivery puts it squarely within the franchise’s broader anniversary year. The statue therefore arrives at a point when Ubisoft’s long-running series will be celebrating two decades of Assassin stories, even if Edward’s own adventure came later in the franchise’s history. Still, it’s a pretty good representation of the franchise’s evolution, worthy of celebrating the overall franchise, and a solid game to pick up for any fans (collectors or otherwise).

At its absolute bottom-of-the-ocean worst, it’s a reminder of what made the Assassin’s Creed franchise the beloved game series it was in the first place.”
