A new crafting game on Steam by the name of Dressmaker was released just three days ago, on September 21, and so far, it has already gotten around 2,000 reviews with an average of 96% positive, and it’s sitting comfortably in Steam’s global Top Sellers chart in the top 15. As reported by Pirat_Nation on Twitter, the game even surpassed the likes of Diablo 4 and Marvel Rivals, and is, at the time of writing, just short of their position in the Top Sellers chart. The game is a job simulator where players can become dressmakers, completely crafting new dresses from scratch, choosing fabrics, patterns, details, additional parts, and putting all of them together. This is a single-player experience, and its system requirements are so minimal that it can virtually run on any PC. Since its debut, it has been called “the perfect girl game” due to its low requirements and its specific niche with little competition, but it’s very much for everyone.
