The newest expansion for the Pokemon TCG was one of the most anticipated sets in years ahead of its debut. 30th Celebration launched as a special set to honor three decades of the monster-catching franchise, containing a multitude of reprints of iconic cards from Pokemon‘s past. 30th Celebration featured more than 30 different versions of Pikachu, including a Pikachu card in every pack, and even introduced a new rarity to the game with the colorful Futuristic Rare cards. Now, Pokemon TCG Live players can pick up a set of free full-art cards in the client.

The newest redemption code for Pokemon TCG Live gives players access to a unique combination of cards from the game’s newest set. The trio of Legendary Birds in Pokemon‘s 30th Celebration set each features unique Abilities that require the player to have all three Pokemon in play in order to activate them. The Abilities all have similar effects that allow the player to attach an extra energy to one of the bird Pokemon, with each getting an energy of its own type. The Illustration Rare copies of the Kanto Legendaries also serve as a particularly enticing offer, with Illustration Rares typically only being pulled once every five packs from 30th Celebration.
Pokemon TCG Live has given fans plenty of free content to entice more players into the game throughout 2026. Each set in 2026 has given players multiple decks in the game through the in-game Battle Pass, including Mega Greninja and Mega Floette decks from Pitch Black. TCG Live also added a brand-new game mode to the online client in May, officially bringing the sealed “Build and Battle” format based on the physical Pokemon TCG‘s prereleases. The game has run new Build and Battle events for each Pokemon TCG set, as well as several events allowing fans to try out older formats.
Fans of the Pokemon TCG have one more exciting new set to look forward to in 2026 with the launch of Delta Reign. Pokemon‘s final set of the year will feature Mega Rayquaza ex as the cover Pokemon, alongside more new creatures and characters featured in Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC. The Pokemon Company has already confirmed the four promo cards that will be available from Delta Reign’s Build and Battle boxes, which are expected to be implemented in an in-game event around the time of the set’s release. Delta Reign’s launch looks to cap off a successful year for the Pokemon Trading Card Game.
