Not just one, but two brand-new Super Mario games have just been released on Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android devices. Geared firmly towards a very young demographic, Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi! are two free apps that let players pull and stretch the faces of the iconic Super Mario mascots.
Launching in Japan in August 2025, and then North America earlier this year, Nintendo’s My Mario product line is a new wave of merchandise targeted specifically at young children and their parents. The My Mario line currently consists of wooden block sets, stuffed toys, Fisher-Price Little People figures, books, clothing, tableware, and an assortment of other Super Mario-themed family-friendly items. These new apps are the latest additions to the My Mario product line.
Nintendo Releases Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi!
On October 5, Nintendo officially released Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi!. These two separate applications are completely free to download on Nintendo Switch and on compatible iOS and Android devices. While the Nintendo eShop only has an original Nintendo Switch version of Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi! available, they can be played on a Nintendo Switch 2 console with no performance issues.

Though they’re two separate games, Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi! deliver an almost identical experience, the only key difference being the character at the forefront of the game. In both apps, players use the touchscreen to manipulate the character’s face, pulling their eyes, mouth, hair, and ears in a playful way, in a similar vein to Super Mario 64‘s iconic main menu minigame. Tapping on the Question Block in the top left of the screen will spawn iconic items and enemies from Super Mario, which can also be moved around the game space.
This Question Block menu is also home to a Peekaboo minigame in which Luigi or Peach covers their face with their hands. Given that Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi! are geared towards very young children, Nintendo has included a built-in screen-time break, whereby Peach and Luigi will fall asleep after a set amount of play time. This built-in timer can be switched off in each game’s settings menu. The entirety of Hello, Peach! and Hello, Luigi! can also be played offline on both Switch and mobile devices, and on the former the download size of each app is just 200MB.
These are actually the third and fourth versions of what’s essentially the same game. Hello, Mario! released back in February of this year and featured all of the same modes and functionality as these newly released apps, only with Mario taking center stage instead. A version featuring Yoshi, unsurprisingly titled Hello, Yoshi!, released in April, also featuring the exact same modes of play. All Hello Super Mario games are also compatible with the physical My Mario wooden block toys. Tapping a My Mario wooden block figure on the Nintendo Switch will bring that respective character into the game.
