Xbox Game Pass subscribers have nine new games to look forward to on the subscription service over the next few weeks. Microsoft has confirmed the full list of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass until October 16, with a few big names to look forward to.
The Xbox Game Pass subscription service remains one of gaming’s best deals. Gamers have access to a rotating library of titles to access at any time, with more being added every single week. Some games are even released on Xbox Game Pass on day one, removing the expensive barrier to entry for these particular titles.

There’s no doubt that Battlefield 6 is the big ticket item in the latest drop, Battlefield Studios’ latest entry in the iconic FPS series finally arriving on Xbox Game Pass just over a year after its initial launch. But it’s not the only title gamers should have their eyes on. Valor Mortis catches the eye – a first-person soulslike bringing something totally fresh to the genre. Neon Abyss 2 received excellent reviews upon its launch last year, so that’s another great addition to Xbox Game Pass for October 2026.
It’s already been an excellent month for Xbox Game Pass prior to the latest set of upcoming games being revealed, for one big reason: Gears of War: E-Day. Seven years since the last entry in the series, Gears of War is back, and as a first-party title, it launched on Game Pass day one.
Seeing these games coming in is great, but unfortunately, Xbox Game Pass is also losing some big names this month. On October 15, nine games will leave the service, including A Plague Tale: Requiem and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Both come as a big blow to the subscription service, but at least Microsoft is keeping the incomings flowing to make it less painful.
