Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have been begging Rockstar for another look at the upcoming open-world sequel for months now, and their wishes have been granted as the game just got a big, new launch trailer as we enter the final weeks before GTA 6’s release on November 19.
On October 15, Rockstar Games dropped GTA 6‘s launch trailer online without any teasing. This trailer will likely play on TV and in theaters around the country as Rockstar ramps up its marketing push for what will be one of the biggest games in history. Here’s the trailer:
In the new minute-and-a-half trailer, we learn more about why Jason has seemingly turned to a life of crime. He explains: “I got in trouble in the army. Didn’t leave on the best of terms. They don’t give loans or anything to people like me.” So it appears that he feels forced into this life and might be reluctant to stick around.
Elsewhere in the trailer, we see a lot of action, as you’d expect, with guns being fired, crime being committed, and cars being driven. But there’s also something I didn’t expect to see in a GTA trailer: sex in the shower. This trailer makes it very clear that Jason and Lucia are a couple that will share intimate moments with each other, and if you were curious if the couple’s sex life would be shown directly on screen, it appears that, at least once, such a moment will indeed be depicted in the game. How far we’ve come since the Hot Coffee days
The new trailer also features a fresh song from electronic duo Justice, who also composed the original score for GTA 6. The new track is “Flower in a Hurricane” and features Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Rockstar has confirmed that the song will be included in the game’s official soundtrack release.
The long wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 is nearly over. After years and years of rumors, delays, leaks, and more leaks, GTA 6 is coming out soon. The game will finally arrive next month on November 19 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
Developing story…
