A talented LEGO fan online has built the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars, using only pieces from the Marvel 76191 Infinity Gauntlet set. The custom LEGO alt build shows what’s possible when a creative builder puts their mind to a unique idea.
The 76191 Marvel Infinity Gauntlet set first launched in 2021, more than two years after the conclusion of the Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The set features 590 pieces in total and retails at $69.99. It’s an imposing display piece, and this LEGO alt build gives fans a new way to display it more than five years after its original release.
Custom LEGO Millennium Falcon Build With Marvel Infinity Gauntlet Set
Over on Reddit, the aptly named TheHaanSolo shared their alt build for the 79161 Infinity Gauntlet, transforming it into the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars without using any extra pieces. The creativity is off the charts here, using one Infinity Stone for the cockpit, and the rest lined up together as the back engines. Obviously, the colors use the Infinity Gauntlet’s gold, but the shape and details of the LEGO build are unmistakably the iconic Star Wars ship.
Instructions for the incredible Millennium Gauntlet build are available for $2 on Rebrickable. For those who want to transform their 76191 Infinity Gauntlet into something completely brand-new, it’s a small price to pay. And given the intricacies of the build, using over 400 pieces in total, it would be nearly impossible to recreate it perfectly by eye.
There’s a small subculture within the LEGO community online dedicated to transforming other popular sets into the Millennium Falcon. The subreddit, r/oopsmillenniumfalcon, is dedicated solely to that purpose, and talented, creative builders can create almost anything when they put their minds to it. A recent example was another builder who transformed a LEGO Moana 2 set into the Millennium Falcon, an excellent showcase of what’s possible.
Marvel and Star Wars are two of LEGO’s most valuable IPs, so it’s cool to see them come together in this new Millennium Falcon alt build. In an official capacity, next year is expected to be huge for LEGO Star Wars in particular. This is because the franchise is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2027. A few leaks have already detailed LEGO Star Wars plans for 2027, though they should be taken with a pinch of salt, as with all leaks.
