Official Pokemon Pokopia Release Confirmed for November 16

The next big event is coming to Pokemon Pokopia on November 16, tasking players with collecting a special resource to unlock some brand new unlocks, but it’ll only be around for a limited time. For many, Pokemon Pokopia is the surprise hit of 2026, as the cozy game became a huge hit for Koei Temco and Nintendo at launch, but the release window was just the start as the game continues to pump out new content and things to do.

While not a true live-service game, Pokemon Pokopia has continued to release new updates for players, including a mix of free and premium content. The first Pokemon Pokopia DLC known as Bubbly Basin launched back in August, continued to build on the underwater biome by introducing a new village to rebuild along with a selection of Pokemon to meet and befriend. However, big DLC releases are just one piece of the puzzle, as Pokemon Pokopia features free limited-time events as well, arriving on holidays like Halloween as well as special events like the upcoming Apples to Applin.

Pokemon Pokopia Smashes Another Major Milestone

Nintendo has just officially confirmed that Pokemon Pokopia has hit another major sales milestone.

When is Pokemon Pokopia’s Apples to Applin Event?

  • Monday, November 16 at 5:00am local time to Tuesday, December 1 at 4:59am local time

Starting on November 16, Pokemon Pokopia is kicking off its latest limited-time event called Apples to Applin. Naturally, the event features Pokemon‘s grass/dragon Applin, along with all of its evolutions including Appletun, Flapple, Dipplin, and Hydrapple. While the event itself is only available until December 1, players will need to collect Syrupy Apples after a request comes in from Applin, who is visiting the player’s town.

Collecting Syrupy Apples will also allow players to exchange them for brand-new decorations and furniture, most of which are apple-themed. Screenshots show off some of the items, including an Apple-themed kitchen utensil wrack, an Applin Blender, and even a kitted out Pokemon Center with apple-themed decorations and banners. Not only that, the new furniture isn’t just for show, as players will be able to use it to build additional special Pokopia habitats to now include new spaces for Flapple, Appletun, Dipplin, and Hydrapple in the town. One thing to note is that in order to participate in this limited-time event, players will need to ensure their game is fully updated with Patch 2.0.1 or something newer.

This latest event follows right on the heels of Pokemon Pokopia‘s Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises event, which was the game’s take on Halloween. While not only serving as the debut for Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist, players were asked to collect Pumpkin Candy and exchange it for a variety of Halloween-themed decorations and furniture like Ghost-type balloons, a Pikachu-shaped Jack-O’-Lantern, and plenty more. The twist to this event is that players could only earn candy by scaring Pokemon by transforming into their favorite items and furniture using the ability called Camoflage.

Alongside this free event, Pokemon Pokopia also revealed DLC 2 details. The second premium expansion is known as Dazzling Decorations and is right around the corner with a launch date set for December 9, a week after the Applin event comes to a close. Players will be able to dress up and accessorize their befriended Pokemon with all sorts of new options. Not only that, the DLC expansion also adds new Pokemon to the game as well, previously confirming a few of the new pocket monsters like Doduo, Skitty, Braixen, and Snubbull.
