Xbox Game Pass Adds 2 New Cozy Games, a Day-One Release, and More

An early November 2026 update to the Xbox Game Pass library has introduced four new titles, two of which are brand-new additions to the service. The other two, MySims and MySims Kingdom, are now available on even more Xbox Game Pass platforms as MySims Cozy Bundle.

The MySims spin-offs originally debuted during the Wii era, offering Animal Crossing-style experiences with loose ties to The Sims. Rather than focusing on (potentially family) life simulation, they task players with creating a single character who takes on a mayor-like role, gathering resources, rebuilding a neglected town, befriending its residents, and solving simple environmental puzzles. Roughly 18 years after their original releases, MySims and MySims Kingdom launched on Xbox Game Pass in late January 2026, initially as PC-only offerings.

MySims Console and Cloud Versions Join Xbox Game Pass

Arriving Alongside Escape Academy 2 and Firefighting Simulator: Ignite

Ten months later, the Xbox Series X/S versions of MySims Cozy Bundle have also joined Xbox Game Pass, alongside Firefighting Simulator: Ignite and the day-one release of Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School. Since Xbox Cloud Gaming runs on custom Series X hardware, the cozy bundle is now also available to stream. However, like other EA Play titles, the MySims entries are not included with Xbox Game Pass Premium and are unlikely to reach the service’s lower-priced tiers, as EA Play benefits are reserved for higher-tier subscriptions.

All Remaining Xbox Game Pass Releases Confirmed for November 2026

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, which was also a day-one Xbox Game Pass release in July 2022. It ended up staying on the service for two and a half years, eventually leaving in January 2025. Based on that precedent, Back 2 School seems likely to enjoy a similarly lengthy stint, particularly given the ability of co-op games to drive sustained engagement on subscription services like Game Pass. While the sequel retains the escape-room gameplay of its predecessor, it significantly expands the formula by replacing the original’s largely linear structure with open-world exploration.

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is currently exclusive to PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The day-one release is expected to trickle down to the Premium tier of the service as early as mid-2027. In the meantime, Xbox Game Pass has plenty more confirmed arrivals for November 2026, starting with Football Manager 27, Warhammer Survivors, and Tanuki: Pon’s Summer. All three are scheduled to debut on November 10.

Looking a bit further ahead, a massive exodus will be happening on November 15, when Xbox Game Pass is set to lose 13 titles. That catalog update will mark its single biggest wave of departures in 2026.
