Z-A DLC Officially Reveals New Mega Lucario

Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s newest Mega Dimension DLC trailer officially reveals a new Mega Evolution for Lucario, showcasing its new design and revealing its type combination. Pokemon Legends: Z-A came out just 7 weeks ago, and next week, on December 10, the Mega Dimension DLC is being released. This is a paid DLC for $30, and based on the leaks, it’s much smaller in scale compared to The Teal Mask and especially The Indigo Disk from Gen 9.

Leaks about Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC have been surfacing online since the game’s launch, which stemmed from some leftover items and text in the game’s data. This indicated there would be a new Mega Evolution for Heatran, Darkrai, and Zeraora. The latter was confirmed on November 19 with another trailer, and it indirectly confirmed all the other leaks regarding the new Mega Evolutions in the DLC, as the list also included Mega Chimecho and Baxcalibur. Now, this new Mega Lucario further confirms the leaks.

Say Hello to Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s New Mega Lucario

Mega Lucario in Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s DLC is actually the ace of returning trainer Korrina, and while this was already the case in the original Gen 6 games, she is now using the second Mega Lucario version. Although fans were speculating it would get a new type combination after it was first leaked, it’s now confirmed to be Fighting/Steel, like the original.

Mega Zeraora’s stats in Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s DLC were leaked alongside its Pokedex description, but this was more of an exception than the rule, and fans will have to wait to see what the new Mega Lucario has to offer. However, it will most likely be quite different from the original Mega Lucario, as its design has very little in common with it.
