Fallout 76 Fans Have Until January 6 to Claim These Special New Vegas Rewards

2025 has been a big year for Fallout: New Vegas fans. While it’s true that the community’s biggest wish — a remaster or remake of the 2010 classic — hasn’t been granted just yet, there’s been plenty of love shown for the setting as of late. New Vegas serves as the focus of Fallout Season 2, and in addition to the Amazon series visiting the iconic location, Fallout 76 has added the New Vegas-like locale Burning Springs. New Vegas-themed rewards were added alongside Burning Springs’ debut to celebrate the former’s 15th anniversary, including Benny’s suit, and now Fallout 76 is doubling down on New Vegas with a special mini-pass.

In addition to Fallout 76’s main Blood and Rust Season, players can now complete the Sunset Stranger mini-pass. As its name suggests, this mini-pass focuses heavily on Sunset Sarsaparilla, the western-themed beverage found all throughout New Vegas. While Nuka Cola may be the series’ most popular drink in a majority of locations, in the New Vegas region, Sunset Sarsaparilla was a close second place. And though Sunset Sarsaparilla items have slowly been getting added to Fallout 76 over the last several months, there are far more Nuka Cola items in the game, meaning fans of the New Vegas staple won’t want to miss out on the limited-time items for their CAMP. They’ll have to act fast, though, as there is less than two weeks left to obtain them.

Fallout 76’s mini-passes share tickets with the main passes, so players can choose to spend on whichever items they prefer. There are bonus limited-time challenges for the event pass, but they expire when it does, so Fallout 76 players should prioritize these tasks if they want to claim everything from the main and mini-pass.

Everything Included in Fallout 76’s ‘Sunset Stranger’ Mini-Pass

  • Sunset Sarsaparilla Deputy Hat
  • Sunset Sarsaparilla Salloon Door
  • Sunset Sarsaparilla Bar Stool
  • Sunset Sarsaparilla Arcade Dart Machine
  • Sunset Sarsaparilla Billboard
  • Sunset Sarsaparilla Cap Clutter
  • Sunset Sarsaparilla Bottle Clutter
  • Build Mass With Sass Poster
  • A Fresh Delight Poster
  • Deputy Badge Backpack Flair
  • Two Player Icons

  • Four Player Titles

    • Sassy and Sunset Prefixes, Courier and Stranger Suffixes

The most sought-after items in this set aren’t what many would expect, as it’s the bottle and cap clutter that will likely have players the most hyped. The reason for this is that, unless players have the chessboard display that can be clipped through floors, tables, and other structures, there’s no way to place junk items on floors and surfaces. This makes clutter items the next best way to create a lived-in Fallout 76 CAMP, which these two items should help accomplish. Other than that, those hoping to create a saloon will have an easier time doing so thanks to this mini-pass, while the Deputy hat will be an exciting option for anyone looking to shake up their cowboy attire. With more traditional cowboy hats available, as well as other branded caps like the Vault-Tec Cowboy Hat, there are now plenty of options for gamers who dig this kind of look.

Fortunately, since players do not have to rely on farming limited-time event items and simply need to explore Burning Springs to complete all the challenges, clearing this event pass should be easier than some of the previous ones were. Even if players don’t care about the New Vegas items in this mini-pass, the challenges are worth doing to snag more rewards from the main pass, though gamers will have to start working on them ASAP since the week 1 tasks expire very soon. That said, for New Vegas fans — and more specifically, those with a fondness for Sunset Sarsaparilla — this mini-pass will be just as appealing as the full one.
