Is Fallout 76 Worth Playing in 2026?

Fallout 76’s Strong 2025 Streak Hopefully Continues in 2026

Fallout 76 has featured plenty of updates that have expanded the game’s content, but 2025 was stacked. There is still plenty of room for improvement, but last year’s changes felt like a new chapter for Fallout 76 that was already a new book. Bethesda closed out the year with Fallout 76‘s Burning Springs update, but the three others upgraded the game in other major ways.

Fallout 76‘s updates last year covered a lot of bases. Taste is subjective, so everyone’s reasoning for playing or skipping out on Fallout 76 will be different. The Fallout franchise already has a few things on the horizon in 2026. The second season of the Amazon series is underway, and Fallout 76 will get more content. What that content will be, though, isn’t clear at the moment.
