Heartopia Player Spends Nearly 10 Hours Building Dream Home

Heartopia Player Spends Nearly 10 Hours Building Dream Home

A Heartopia player spent nearly 10 hours building their dream house, and the end result is impressive. Heartopia made its global debut in January this year and has already managed to attract a large following of fans of life simulators and cozy games. In this game from XD Inc., players have the opportunity to explore various hobbies, adopt pets, form bonds with residents, and unlock various events. However, one activity that has particularly appealed to fans of this production is designing and building their own house, complete with furniture and decorations.

Although Heartopia is designed to provide a peaceful and relaxing experience, that doesn’t mean building a house there is an easy task. Before gamers start building, they need to know not only how to manage the home plots they receive as Heartopia‘s beginner players, but also how to use the blueprints application and how to plan the layout of their building. Another difficulty is the fact that all houses are created from scratch, and for someone new, the wide range of options to choose from can be overwhelming. Additionally, unlocking home plots, furniture, and other useful items requires players to spend both in-game currency and real money.

How to Earn Gold Fast in Heartopia

If you want to have the best life in Heartopia, you’re going to need to grind for gold. These effective ways will provide you with the help you need.

Heartopia Fan Builds Their Dream House in Nearly 10 Hours

One very dedicated Heartopia fan with the username delatinexx recently shared on Reddit a screenshot of a house they built in the game. The caption accompanying the photo indicates that the entire work took about 8–9 painful hours to complete, but the author of the post expressed satisfaction with their work, which was also created in their favorite aesthetic style. The elaborate wooden structure with a mini farm in the garden, a gazebo, and a water reservoir was inspired by designs posted by users on the Chinese online platform Xiaohongshu, also known as RedNote. However, as the fan points out, work on the dream house is still ongoing, as it does not yet have matching furniture from various Heartopia sets.

Other players of Heartopia widely commented on the patient builder’s achievement. However, their comments were not only complimenting the beauty of the design, but also expressing criticism of Heartopia‘s gacha system and microtransactions related to it. A significant portion of participants in the discussion argue that the possibility of obtaining better items solely by paying is unfair and exploitative, as many fans of this title will not be able to achieve such impressive results as those shown in the image on Reddit. What’s more, the gacha system implemented in the game lacks a pity system, so players cannot be sure whether a few hundred pulls will be enough to get the set they want if it is not guaranteed.

The discussion surrounding the imagination and creativity of Heartopia players is linked to the topic of the gacha system used in the game for a reason. Recently, criticism from fans on this issue has been growing, while the developers claim that item drop rate probabilities in Heartopia are transparent. While XD Inc. assures that player feedback will be taken into account in the game’s further development, many fans remain unconvinced by these statements. However, the situation may be clarified during the upcoming special event in collaboration with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, when players will be able to use gacha to obtain unique items.

Overall, this isn’t the first time Heartopia players have boasted about their house designs online, as it happens quite often on the aforementioned subreddit. Sharing sophisticated and refined designs not only showcases the creative possibilities of the game and its audience, but also inspires others to create the buildings of their dreams. An additional motivation may also be the fact that every week players of Heartopia have the opportunity to get their homes evaluated and receive a score based on which they receive rewards. It’s also an easy way for fans to get new furniture recipes for their home, so more impressive builds will likely join the list in time.
