Developer Embark Studios has finally confirmed when the next major content update for ARC Raiders will be released, and it’s just a few weeks away. Known as the Flashpoint update, ARC Raiders players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC will be able to jump into some fresh content on March 31. Further details on the patch are expected to be shared in the coming weeks, but the game’s 2026 roadmap has already revealed that the big March update will see the arrival of a new ARC threat, a new map condition, and more.
After an exceptional launch late last year, Embark kicked off the new year with an official 2026 roadmap for ARC Raiders, detailing four major content updates between January and April. The first, known as Headwinds, brought a controversial new 1v3 matchmaking option, a new player project, and a new map condition for Buried City. Embark then stepped things up a notch in February with Shrouded Sky, adding two deadly new ARC enemies, a new Hurricane map condition, a major new POI on Dam Battlegrounds, and much more. Now, with March coming to a close, Embark has confirmed when the next major content update for ARC Raiders will be released.

New ARC Raiders Content Will Release March 31
With just two weeks left of the month, Embark Studios has now announced that ARC Raiders‘ Flashpoint update will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on Tuesday, March 31. In a new post on Twitter, the studio teased the update, saying, “Truth is scarce and rumors spread. The Flashpoint is coming.” There is also an image, which can be seen below, of three Raiders seemingly sitting at a bar in Speranza as they are viewed from above. Some took this to be an indication that the highly requested social hub feature will be added to ARC Raiders in this month’s update. While the developers have admitted that Speranza is currently “underutilized,” it’s likely going to take the team much longer to implement such a large feature.
Fans can likely expect further details on Flashpoint to arrive in the coming days, but the team has already confirmed that the patch will add another new map condition, a new ARC threat, another player project for players to complete, and an update to Scrappy. In an update last month, Scrappy’s UI received an unexpected overhaul, leading many to believe that this month’s Flashpoint update will see the iconic rooster receive some brand-new features, possibly with the chance of collecting even more materials than he does already.
Today’s announcement comes after Embark released a minor new ARC Raiders update on March 17, which made a handful of important bug fixes, changes, and a huge nerf to one of the shooter’s most popular PvP weapons, the IL Toro shotgun. Fans had long been requesting that the weapon be toned down, as it was a constant threat in close-quarter combat situations and was dominating Stella Montis lobbies. In response, Embark has reduced the Toro’s pellet damage from 7.5 to 7, its base fire-rate has been reduced from 43 to 38, base dispersion increased from 4.5 to 6, and total reload time increased from 4.3 seconds to 5.7 seconds.
While this month’s update is sure to bring plenty of great content for players to check out, many are patiently waiting for April’s Riven Tides patch, as Embark has confirmed that it will not only see the addition of a brand-new map, but also a new large ARC enemy similar to the Queen or Matriarch. According to the roadmap, there will also be another new map condition and ARC Raiders‘ third Expedition departure for those looking to reset their character once again.
