Fortnite Leak Reveals Potential Crossover With Classic TV Show

Fortnite Leak Reveals Potential Crossover With Classic TV Show

New leaks have emerged online suggesting that Fortnite could soon collaborate with one of the most iconic TV franchises ever, Beyblade. Developed by Epic Games, Fortnite first launched all the way back in 2017. The game originally came with a PvE Save the World campaign, but skyrocketed in popularity through its Battle Royale mode, where 100 players compete to be the last one standing on an island. What sets it apart from other games in the genre is its building mechanic, which allows players to construct walls, ramps, and forts during combat.

Over the years, Fortnite has earned a name for itself in the gaming industry thanks to its numerous crossovers with popular franchises. Epic Games has partnered with major names like Marvel and DC, bringing characters such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Batman into the game. It has also featured collaborations with anime like Jujutsu Kaisen and Dragon Ball, along with in-game concerts by artists like Marshmello, Ariana Grande, and Travis Scott. Recently, Fortnite has even teamed up with Game of Thrones. Now, new leaks suggest that Fortnite might be gearing up for yet another collaboration, but this time with a classic TV show.

Fortnite Leaks SpongeBob SquarePants Crossover

A recent leak from Fortnite is hinting at a beloved animated series coming to the battle royale, with a SpongeBob crossover reportedly in the works.

Fortnite x Beyblade Might Be Happening Soon

In a recent post on Twitter, a prominent leaker, SamLeakss, claimed that Beyblade X could soon be collaborating with Fortnite. However, the leaker hasn’t shared any details about potential skins, emotes, gliders, or pickaxes, and there’s no confirmed date yet. If the leak proves accurate, more information about the Fortnite crossover is likely to surface in the near future. Even so, the news has generated a lot of excitement among fans of the Beyblade franchise, who have long hoped to see Battle Royale team up with the series.

The Beyblade franchise, created by Takao Aoki, is one of the most popular anime shows in the world. It initially began as a manga before expanding into anime, toys, and video games. Over the years, it has evolved through multiple generations, including the original series, Metal Fusion, and Burst, each one bringing fans new characters, designs, and mechanics. Beyblade X, the latest generation, debuted in 2023 and focuses on the Xtreme Dash system, which allows Beyblades to interact with stadium rails for high-speed clashes. The anime’s executive producer has even shared their favorite Beyblade X character in interviews, and the series itself has been well received by fans so far.

Although players can’t wait to see if the rumored crossover comes to fruition, some on Reddit and Twitter are a bit disappointed. These players say that they would have preferred a collaboration with the original series, featuring characters like Max, Kai, Ray, and Tyson. Others believe that Beyblade: Metal Fusion, with its iconic antagonist, Ryuga, would have been a much better fit. There’s also a lot of speculation and curiosity as to how Beyblades will exactly work in Fortnite. Some believe that they could appear as throwable weapons that would ricochet off surfaces before returning to the players. There’s also a chance players could see a limited-time mode where they could battle it out against each other with just Beyblades.

Players can’t wait to see how Epic Games will integrate such an iconic TV show into the Battle Royale experience. Recent leaks have also hinted that a new Fortnite mode might be arriving soon. With multiple rumored collaborations and updates on the horizon, the future looks quite promising for the game. However, as always, it’s crucial to take these claims and rumors with a grain of salt. Epic Games still hasn’t confirmed its plans for any crossovers, and there’s always a chance they could be shelved at the last minute.
