All New and Returning Vehicles Confirmed So Far

As the name implies, vehicles are a core part of the Grand Theft Auto series, and Grand Theft Auto 6 already seems packed with tons of new and returning rides for players to drive. Cars aren’t the only vehicles available in Grand Theft Auto 6, as the highly anticipated entry in the iconic franchise boasts two-wheeled vehicles, aircraft, and watercraft as well. Most of what has been shown of GTA 6 so far has included returning vehicles that eagle-eyed fans have spotted across the game’s two trailers, but there are some new vehicles present in these trailers that have yet to be officially named.

It’s Official: This Will Be the Summer of GTA 6

Grand Theft Auto 6 is still months away from release, but this summer should be exciting one for fans looking forward to the game.

All Returning Vehicles Confirmed for GTA 6 So Far

The Grand Theft Auto series is filled to the brim with different types of vehicles for players to drive. While the majority of the vehicles in GTA are cars, trucks, and SUVs, there is a solid number of motorcycles, planes, helicopters, and boats as well. The series also includes emergency vehicles, such as police cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances that mischievous players can steal.

Longtime fans of the Grand Theft Auto series will likely be glad to know that there are dozens of cars returning from across the series’s history in GTA 6. Popular, highly-rated cars such as the Bravado Buffalo STX, the GTA universe’s take on the Dodge Charger, or the Grotti Furia, a clearly Ferrari-inspired supercar, are back in this latest entry. Alongside these high-powered automotives are old reliables like the Dinka Blista Compact, which may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but can be a great getaway vehicle in a pinch.

Some formerly GTA Online-exclusive cars like the Declasse Vamos are confirmed for their first single-player appearance in GTA 6 as well. What makes these appearances so important is the fact that a car like the Declasse Vamos is no longer available for purchase from GTA Online‘s in-game store, meaning players who missed out on owning one will get another chance to purchase it in GTA 6.

Iconic motorcycles like the Zombie Chopper that debuted in Grand Theft Auto 4 and the Maibatsu Manchez that first appeared in Liberty City Stories are also set to return in GTA 6. From what has been shown of GTA 6 so far, dirt bike and motorcycle racing will be a major side activity, so it’s great to see some classic bikes return.

While transportation options like taxis have always played a part in the GTA series, even dating as far back as GTA 1 and 2, it’s nice to see that GTA 6 will continue the series’s tradition of including these cabs. Other public transportation options like buses and trains similar to those of Liberty City are also great additions to help players who don’t want to walk or steal a vehicle to get where they need to go.

Given Vice City’s positioning as a beach destination in the sunny southern Leonida, there are bound to be tons of watercraft available for GTA 6 players to use. So far, large boats like the Dinka Marquis yacht, all the way down to small single-rider Seasharks, are confirmed to be included in GTA 6, but the door is open for even more to appear as more information about Grand Theft Auto 6 is shared ahead of release.

Planes and Helicopters are the last major category of vehicles in the Grand Theft Auto series, and a few have already been confirmed to return in GTA 6. Popular choppers like the Sea Sparrow and the Buzzard Attack Chopper will appear in the game, as well as planes ranging from the Dodo seaplane to the luxurious Shamal jet.

New Vehicles Confirmed for GTA 6

Alongside a swath of returning vehicles, GTA 6 is set to introduce its own batch of brand-new machines for players to get their hands on. Most of these vehicles have not been given official names and have only been identified from GTA 6 trailers by the real-world vehicles they’re based on.

Only one of the new cars shown in trailers and promotional materials for GTA 6 has been given a name. The Vapid Creado is a new car confirmed to be driven by one of GTA 6‘s protagonists Jason Duval. Aside from this confirmed in-universe name, some of the other cars shown, such as those modeled after Dodge vehicles, will likely share their established GTA series counterpart, like Bravado in the case of Dodge or Vapid in the case of Ford.

New Motorcycles in Grand Theft Auto 6

  • Principe Alvino V1
  • Mobility Scooter
  • Several unknown motorcycles

The new bikes in GTA 6 are somewhat of a mystery. While Jason has been confirmed to own the new Principe Alvino V1, other motorcycles are unidentified, such as one that GTA 6‘s other protagonist Lucia sits on in one piece of promotional art. However, it’s confirmed that mobility scooters will be available in-game, as one NPC can be seen riding one in trailer footage.

The swamp and glades of Leonida make Airboats/Fanboats a necessary new type of boat in GTA 6. Beyond that, new boats ranging from party yachts to fishing boats are all coming in GTA 6 as well. Players even seem able to take to the water in a kayak as well as motorized water vehicles.
