Amazon Prime Gaming has just confirmed that 10 PC games will be free to claim in January 2026 for anyone who’s subscribed to Prime. The list of 10 free Amazon Prime Gaming titles doesn’t include too many heavy hitters, but it’s a great opportunity for those who just got a PC during the holiday season to build their game library without having to spend a cent.
At the time of writing, Prime users can still claim a total of 22 games via Amazon Prime Gaming, including major titles like XCOM 2, New Tales from the Borderlands, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, LEGO 2K Drive, and the first two Fallout games. Though, users will need to act fast, as this new batch of 10 free games will gradually replace Amazon Prime Gaming’s current collection of free PC titles.

Every Game Amazon Prime Is Giving Away in January 2026
Throughout January 2026, Amazon Prime Gaming is giving away 10 PC games for free to those with an active Prime subscription. Once claimed, these games are then added to the user’s library permanently, meaning that they can still be played even if the user ceases their Amazon Prime subscription.

Brigador: Up-Armored Edition is listed twice in Amazon’s announcement, as both the standard edition and deluxe edition of the game will be available to claim on January 15.
By far the biggest game on the list is Civilization 6. Though it may be turning 10-years-old this year, Civilization 6 is still widely considered by many to be one of the best 4X strategy games currently available on PC, and it’s a must-claim for those looking to build their PC library. While last year’s Civilization 7 improved on much of Civ 6‘s formula, some fans believe it also regressed in some ways, leading some to believe that Civilization 6 is still the best the franchise has to offer.
Civilization 6 may be the heaviest hitter on Amazon Prime Gaming’s free games for January 2026 list, but there are plenty of other experiences worth trying out. D&D Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator, for instance, is over 30 years old but its fun blend of real-time city-building and Dungeons and Dragons IP could be just what some Stranger Things fans are looking for following the Season 5 finale. Then there’s Technotopia, another city-builder, but one with a unique deck-building twist.
On the opposite end of the gaming genre spectrum is Elderborn, a hardcore first-person melee game with a dark fantasy aesthetic, which itself is very different from a game like Reflections of Life: Dark Architect, a point-and-click puzzle adventure. For those unaware, Amazon Luna is a cloud gaming service that can be accessed via supported mobile devices, PCs, Macbooks, and even some smart TVs. The games added to Amazon Luna can only be played via the cloud, meaning that gameplay performance may vary depending on the user’s internet speed.
