Arc Raiders sends you to Buried City and Dam Battlegrounds for the A Rising Tide quest, with multiple steps required to reach its conclusion. There’s nothing overtly difficult about this journey, but there are some easier ways to get things done that you may want to know about. And hey, that’s why we’re here. Let’s take a look at how to complete A Rising Tide.
On Buried City, find the foreman’s barricaded apartment south of Piazza Roma
The first step to the A Rising Tide quest is to visit the foreman’s barricaded apartment. This is located in one of the dual buildings just south of Piazza Roma on the left side of the map.
The easiest way inside this building is to first head to a rooftop across from the building to find a zipline. Check the map below for the exact location of this zipline.
Take the zipline across until you see a platform on your right, then jump from the zipline to land on it.
If you timed it correctly, you’ll now be in the foreman’s barricaded apartment.
Access the foreman’s digital logbook
Once you’re inside the building, walk to the back of the room and interact with a prompt to access the foreman’s digital logbook.
Your objective will update and ask you to visit Dam Battlegrounds. So, go ahead and extract from Buried City, then head to the next map.
On Dam Battlegrounds, reach the Power Generation Complex
The Power Generation Complex is the massive POI at the northern tip of Dam Battlegrounds. To trigger the next step of the quest, you’ll have to actually enter this POI.
You’ll then be prompted to find a way into the Controlled Access Zone.
Find a way into the Controlled Access Zone
There are various ways to enter the Controlled Access Zone, including ziplines from the swamps below or from within the Power Generation Complex. However, our preferred way to enter–particularly for placing you near your next objective in this quest–is a ladder entrance outside. To enter this way, simply head to the location on the map below while outside, then take the ladder down.
When you get to the bottom, you’ll notice a large destroyed ARC hanging from the ceiling, and you’ll receive your next step.
Search the Controlled Access Zone for any clues about the foreman’s reconstruction project
The last step of the quest requires you to search for some clues. Luckily, if you entered from the spot we showed above, you’ll be very close to where you need to be.
Spot a room accessible via the walkway you’ve descended onto, and walk around and through a door to enter it.
Inside, you’ll find a whiteboard you can interact with. Do so to complete the quest.
With the quest completed, you can now return to Speranza using any extraction point you’d like. Make sure to turn the quest in when you get back, then you’ll be ready for what’s next on the agenda.
