On May 26, ARC Raiders released a new store update, patch 1.30.0, which adds new color variants for the Leviathan set, updates Ermal, the new trader, and introduces some other minor changes. ARC Raiders‘ previous update arrived not long ago, on May 19, and added a wide range of new features and items.
Despite being labeled a “store update,” patch 1.30.0 does not technically add any new cosmetic items to ARC Raiders‘ store, as it only introduces two color variants, Midnight and Crimson Frost, for an already available set. Players who already own the Leviathan outfit will receive the new variants automatically, with no additional unlock required.

ARC Raiders’ Update Changes How Expedition Vault Works
The most notable change in ARC Raiders‘ latest update is the revised Expedition Vault requirements. All tiers of the Expedition Vault will now cost 200,000 Credits, a shift designed to “encourage more trading.” Previously, only the first tier required 200,000 Credits, while the remaining four increased progressively, with the final tier reaching 1,000,000 Credits.

Embark Studios Confirms ARC Raiders’ Live Update Cadence
One of the more notable details in ARC Raiders‘ May 26 patch notes is the developer’s comment on live updates. The team has confirmed that, following recent changes to how major updates work in ARC Raiders, live service patches will now be released every three weeks. This does not mean the game will stop receiving hotfixes or over-the-air changes when needed. Embark Studios stated, “[Live updates] will vary in size and scope, but we will use each one as an opportunity to address your feedback. In between these live updates, we will still be updating and hotfixing when needed.”
The Swedish developer has also acknowledged that ARC Raiders‘ previous update, 1.29.0, caused performance issues on Xbox and PC. In the recent patch notes, the team said it is aware of ongoing crashes on Microsoft’s consoles and is also investigating FPS problems on PC. There is currently no official timeline for when these issues will be resolved, but Embark Studios has assured fans that it is “actively investigating and working on solutions for these issues.”
