After what feels like years of leaks, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced has been officially revealed alongside the PC requirements for the game. Ubisoft’s showcase for the remake of the cult-classic Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag showed off plenty of details on the game, which will be sailing onto PC and consoles on July 9.
If you’re aiming to hoist the Jolly Roger of the Jackdaw once again, then you can read below to see if your PC is ready to sail the remake seas.
Obviously, the PC that you used to first play Assassin’s Creed 4 isn’t going to be quite up to the task of running the remake. That being said, the requirements to play the game across a wide selection of graphical presets are fairly forgiving, so if your PC has a decent GPU, a mercifully small amount of RAM, and 65GB of storage capacity, you’ll be good to go for some 1080p and 2K gaming. Going for the 4K 60fps option, however, will require you to have a PC equipped with high-end hardware, like an Nvidia 4090 GPU with 24GB of Video Ram.
Console performance specs haven’t been revealed yet, but like previous Assassin’s Creed games on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, players can probably expect graphical modes that prioritize either fidelity or performance.
