Fans have been wondering when they’d get their next taste of the Assassin’s Creed series following the successful release of Black Flag Resynced earlier this year. Now, thanks to Assassin’s Creed: Heredis, fans have their answer, with a brand-new release officially confirmed for December 2026.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has been a Ubisoft flagship for nearly two decades. Its popularity has allowed it to transcend the video game industry, with projects across numerous mediums. Novels, comics, a movie – there’s even a live-action Assassin’s Creed Netflix series on the way. But there’s one medium Assassin’s Creed has never previously tried, until Heredis.

Assassin's Creed Heredis 2

Tickets are available now for Assassin’s Creed: Heredis, a new stage show set in the AC universe. It brings an entirely new Assassin’s Creed story to the stage, following Naël, who traverses numerous historical eras as he seeks out his father. The show features 17 performers who “combine acrobatics, urban parkour, choreographed combat, and physical feats within immersive environments from Assassin’s Creed video games” in a 2-hour performance.

The show tour begins in Montreal on December 3, with that initial run concluding on December 20. However, it soon returns in Paris on January 21, 2027, ending a few weeks later on February 7. It remains to be seen whether Assassin’s Creed: Heredis expands to any more locations in the future. The full synopsis for Assassin’s Creed: Heredis is as follows:

Since his father’s disappearance, Naël refuses to believe he is gone forever. On his 25th birthday, a mysterious letter leads him into the HEREDIS program.

With his allies, Naël faces a series of trials across different historical eras in a quest to find his father…

On stage, 17 performers combine acrobatics, urban parkour, choreographed combat, and physical feats within immersive environments inspired by the Assassin’s Creed games, drawing audiences deep into the past.

There does come with a catch. Because Assassin’s Creed: Heredis is being performed exclusively in Montreal and Paris, it will only be performed in French. However, the show says that, while it is “inspired by the world and themes of the franchise,” it is designed to be accessible to everyone, meaning viewers don’t have to be existing fans of the Assassin’s Creed series to enjoy it. That said, it still claims to feature “many references” to the series, meaning fans will undoubtedly get a little bit more from the show.

After Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, fans are waiting for Ubisoft to reveal the next game in the series. The company has slowly teased Assassin’s Creed Hexe in recent months, but a full reveal is still absent. Official details remain scarce, making any reveal all the more exciting.
