Publisher Activision and developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software are all gearing up to release the highly anticipated Season 3 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, and to celebrate, the team is giving away the Cast Off Chaos store bundle until April 13, which features a new skin for the Mike Harper Operator.

There will also be tons of new weapons, Operator Bundles, events, game modes, and more. Zombies players will need to wait until the mid-season refresh to jump into the mode’s newest map, Totenreich, but there is a new Survival version of Ashwood and a new Zombie Battle mode arriving on April 2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Is Giving Away a Free Operator Skin for Season 3
Alongside the reveal of Call of Duty‘s Season 3 roadmap, Activision also announced that it will be giving away a free Operator Bundle during the new season. To claim the new Cast Off Chaos Bundle, which can be used in either Black Ops 7 or Warzone, players simply need to log into Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 before April 13, navigate to the in-game store, and claim the bundle. As of writing, the bundle does not appear in-game, which means it will likely be released alongside the game’s major content update on April 2. This means players will have just a little over a week to log into Black Ops 7 during the launch of Season 3 if they want to claim the free bundle.

Although it’s rare for Call of Duty to give away freebies that are anything more than Double XP tokens, it’s not completely unheard of. With the launch of Black Ops Royale, a new Warzone game mode inspired by the original Call of Duty Battle Royale experience, Blackout, players are given the chance to get their hands on a free Weapon Blueprint for Black Ops 7 and Warzone. However, there is a catch to the giveaway. The Sole Survivor Blueprint is part of the new Survival Score promotional event, which requires players to navigate to a dedicated website for the promotion, link their Activision accounts, and then trade in-game Loot Tokens for Supply Crates, which have the chance to drop the free Weapon Blueprint.
Call of Duty fans will be able to get their hands on even more Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, and more when Season 3 launches, as the new season will once again see the arrival of an extensive Battle Pass. Players will be able to purchase the Season 3 Battle Pass for 1,100 COD Points or for 2,400 COD Points, which also grants 20 Tokens to use immediately. In total, the Pass has 119 rewards, three new base weapons, and up to 1,100 COD Points, which can then be used to obtain the Season 4 Battle Pass at no additional cost if players choose to save them.
While Activision is likely hoping that Season 3 will see a significant boost to the game’s player count, Call of Duty fans have been flocking back to 2019’s Modern Warfare after the shooter dropped to its lowest price ever on Steam during the Spring Sale. Despite being nearly seven years old, Infinity Ward’s reboot of its iconic Modern Warfare series managed to peak at more than 60,000 concurrent players on Steam, even prompting the studio to kick off a special Double XP weekend for those who were experiencing the title for the very first time. With rumors of a potential Modern Warfare 4 in development at Infinity Ward, it’s the perfect time to jump back into the series and get caught up with the story.
