Bloodborne remains one of FromSoftware’s most popular releases to date. Fans are always eagerly anticipating a new Bloodborne release from the developer, and they finally have something to look forward to after a recent announcement.

Bloodborne has developed an almost mythical status over the years. Because Sony published it, it was released only on the PlayStation 4 and never ported to other platforms. It wasn’t for a lack of demand – fans have cried out for Bloodborne on other platforms, to no avail. Bloodborne has even dodged the remaster trend, leaving the original PS4 version as the only official release.

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Figma by Good Smile Company Releases May 2027

Good Smile Company has officially opened pre-orders for a re-release of its Hunter Figma, depicting the game’s protagonist as they appear in Bloodborne’s The Old Hunters DLC. This awesome collectible allows for plenty of poses thanks to the Figma’s poseable joints, with multiple weapons from across the base game and DLC that can be swapped out depending on the pose. This includes an articulated Figma stand to display it in a variety of poses.

Find the odd one out before the timer hits zero.

Included weapons include the Saw Cleaver, Hunter Pistol, Hunter Blunderbuss, Hunter Axe, Whirligig Saw, and Ludwig’s Holy Blade. Each one has been designed specifically to complement the collectible when posed in different positions. For example, the Saw Cleaver can be transformed into its extended form, for even more customization options. This new Bloodborne release is priced at ¥12,800 and is expected to ship in May 2027.

Pre-orders via Good Smile Company are limited to 3 per person.

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Hunter Figma Key Details

  • Articulated stand for extra poses

Despite being forgotten about in the video game sense, it’s clear that FromSoftware hasn’t completely left Bloodborne behind entirely. Plenty of Bloodborne merch has been released over the years, with more to come beyond just this new figure in 2027. As long as merchandise like this keeps coming, there’s still hope a new Bloodborne game could arrive eventually.

Admittedly, the idea of a new Bloodborne release is increasingly unlikely as the years pass. At this point, serious progress is being made on getting Bloodborne to run on PC, with fans taking matters into their own hands after Sony and FromSoftware’s failure to release an official port. Never say never, but a new Bloodborne game should not be expected any time soon.
