Blizzard has officially confirmed a brand-new class being added to Diablo 4 in 2027, teasing the return of the Amazon class from Diablo 2. Diablo 4, and the dungeon crawler franchise as a whole, was one of Blizzard’s biggest focuses on the first day of BlizzCon.

Diablo 4 revealed a brand-new class coming to the game in 2027 during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon, announcing the Amazon as a new character. The Amazon returns from Diablo 2 wielding the classic Bow and Javelin, with the latter adding a new weapon type to Diablo 4 with Amazon’s release. Blizzard did not reveal much about how the Amazon will play as the newest member of Diablo 4‘s lineup of playable classes, with more details about the class being revealed during the second day of BlizzCon. Diablo 4 did reveal a rough timeframe of when the Amazon class is projected to be added to the game, planned to release during the first half of 2027.
