Grand Theft Auto has never exactly been shy about its adult content, and while romance between Jason and Lucia is possible in GTA 6, their relationship isn’t strict about visiting clubs. Rockstar’s open-world game series has spent decades building a reputation around violence, drugs, sex, profanity, and the general excess that comes with letting players run loose in a fictional version of America. GTA 6 is continuing that tradition, but the latest age-rating information suggests Rockstar is also taking some of those systems further than previous games.
The difference this time is how much detail has started to emerge before GTA 6 even launches. GTA 6‘s ESRB rating already lists blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, strong language, strong sexual content, and drug and alcohol use among its reasons for an M rating. PEGI’s rating went considerably further, however, providing specific examples of how some of those mature themes will actually appear while exploring Vice City.
GTA 6’s Strip Club Features Mini-Games

According to GTA 6‘s PEGI rating, it will feature strip-club mini-games where players can pay for private dances and interact with the dancers during them. PEGI specifically states that the game allows players to move their hands onto the dancers’ “breasts and buttocks.” The rating also mentions scenes of intercourse and occasional sexual fetishes, making it clear that GTA 6 is not simply using the usual vague “sexual content” label when describing what players can encounter.
Find the odd one out before the timer hits zero.
The strip-club details are only one part of what makes the GTA 6 rating notable. PEGI described the game’s drug use as “frequent and prominent,” with players able to use illegal drugs directly from their inventory. Cocaine can apparently be carried by the player and snorted directly from their hand at any time, which raises an interesting question about whether drug use will have actual gameplay consequences or simply serve as another activity in Leonida. PEGI also described GTA 6‘s gameplay violence as bloody and highly realistic, including detailed decapitation and dismemberment with certain weapons.
Some of these details fit with the direction Rockstar has already established for GTA 6. The game is built around Jason and Lucia’s criminal lives across Leonida, with Vice City returning as the centerpiece of a much larger open-world crime game. Rockstar has also emphasized the game’s characters, relationships, activities, and the sheer amount of detail packed into its world. GTA 6‘s ESRB rating is broadly in line with what would be expected from the series, but the PEGI description provides a much clearer look at just how much of that adult content can actually be interacted with.
GTA 6 is still more than a month away from its November 19 release, so there is plenty Rockstar has yet to show about how these activities work in practice. The PEGI listing has already given players an unusually detailed glimpse at the mature side of the game, though, and the strip-club interactions may be one of the clearest examples yet of Rockstar pushing its open-world systems toward a greater level of player interaction.
