Bungie revealed its World First race plans for the new Destiny 2: The Final Shape Salvation’s Edge raid, which sees players face off against the Witness in a conclusive showdown. In the World First race, fireteams will compete to be the first Destiny 2 players to complete every encounter from the new raid.
Launched on June 4, Destiny 2: The Final Shape brings players to the heart of the Traveler to stop the Witness’ plans and prevent a second collapse. The expansion includes a new campaign, various in-game activities, new Prismatic subclasses, and much more as players experience the conclusion of the Light and Darkness saga. A lot of the excitement about the expansion was met with frustration since Destiny 2: The Final Shape experienced several issues on launch day, preventing many players from logging in and accessing the new content. Bungie is working to remedy many of these issues leading into the launch of the new Salvation’s Edge raid.
