More than four years after the release of the original game, Call of Duty: Warzone is a sequel that offers a variety of maps, regular balance changes, and a slew of new updates and content throughout the year. In recent years, Warzone has also been used as the stage to tease the next Call of Duty game. For example, Warzone featured special events and teases for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 leading into the game’s launch in November 2023. The tradition continues in Warzone Season 4, with a recent teaser clip confirming that Frank Woods will return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. New in-game challenges also allow Warzone players to earn Black Ops 6-themed loot before the game launches later this year.

Dr Disrespect criticizes Call of Duty: Warzone during a recent stream, mentioning that the game is failing in certain aspects.
On Twitter, CharlieIntel shared a clip of Warzone player B23 entering the secret submarine, which is located near the Bioweapons Lab at the northmost point of the Rebirth Island map. Once inside, players will notice a standard loot cache near the entrance, but heading further into the submarine’s interior reveals a communications room. The final Black Ops 6 in-game challenge may be completed in this room by taking the photo on the nearby evidence board. Completing this challenge awards the Warzone player with the new “The Truth Lies” execution, which references Black Ops 6’s live-action trailer.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island Adds a Black Ops 6-Themed Submarine
The response from the Call of Duty community appears to be mostly positive, with many Warzone players eagerly anticipating Black Ops 6’s full reveal and the future updates that will come after the game’s release. However, some Warzone players are confused and frustrated, since the submarine is not spawning for them after several matches played. A few users note that the submarine’s latch was not open when they found it on Rebirth Island, so it’s possible that certain conditions must be met before each player can enter.
The secret submarine is a great addition to Rebirth Island since it generates more excitement for Black Ops 6 and rewards Warzone players for their curiosity. With the Black Ops 6 reveal approaching soon and Season 4 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone being well underway, it should be an eventful time for Call of Duty fans in the summer and later into the fall.
