Multiple images of an unannounced LEGO Christmas stocking set have surfaced online via credible source. The leaked materials reveal a charming decorative model that LEGO is expected to launch ahead of the 2026 holiday season.

Holiday-themed LEGO sets release like clockwork every year, though their exact launch timing varies. Like any other product from the Danish toymaker, they tend to leak months ahead of their official announcements. The latest testament to that trend comes from Lite, an established LEGO leaker with a substantial track record of credible scoops.

Posting on the Brick Tap Discord server in late July 2026, Lite shared six image files of an unannounced LEGO set bearing product number 40958 and the official packaging name “Christmas Stocking.” Although the leaked images are low-resolution, they have all the hallmarks of official LEGO product photography. They include packaging shots, views of the model from multiple angles against a white background, and several lifestyle photos. The circumstances surrounding this sighting suggest that the materials may have originated from LEGO or a licensed retailer that prematurely uploaded thumbnails for the unannounced set.

The leaked stocking is built primarily from maroon-colored bricks, with dark green sections forming the cuff, heel, and rounded toe. Gold-colored stars decorate the front, while a large snowflake ornament hangs beneath thin white trim designed to resemble accumulated snow, dripping icing, or both. The cuff holds several smaller brick-built decorations, including a red-and-white candy cane, holly leaves with red berries, and a tiered brown Christmas tree covered with colorful round ornaments. A single LEGO minifigure appears in four of the six files, or seven of the nine individual images, as two files contain collages. Based on a classic toy soldier design, the figure has a red uniform, black legs, and a tall black hat. The leaked materials show the miniature soldier figure standing either on the cuff or beside the completed model.

The back of the unannounced holiday set features a hinged black kickstand that props the gift sock replica at a slight angle, while a loop in the upper-left corner allows it to hang from a branch or hook. The Botanical Collection is the only LEGO theme that consistently offers that kind of display versatility. Either way, the first sighting of 40958 Christmas Stocking has been quite illuminating, leaving only two key questions unanswered: its price and release date. Regarding the former, an earlier SKU leak matching the festive set’s product number listed a price of $34.99. Whether that figure appears on the final product remains to be seen, particularly because pricing is often among the least reliable details in LEGO leaks.

If recent years are any indication, the Christmas Stocking set will likely debut before the 2026 holiday season rather than during it. LEGO is expected to release a sizable wave of products in early October 2026, making that a plausible launch window for 40958. The only new model expected to be unveiled closer to Christmas is LEGO’s annual employee gift set for 2026, which will never make it to retail.
