Crocs is gearing up to debut a brand-new collaboration with Pokemon that features a trio of fan-favorite creatures from the franchise, but one new product comes with a noticeable markup. The Pokemon crossover comes as the franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026.
The beloved monster-catching franchise has pulled out all the stops to honor its big anniversary. The Pokemon Company has launched a wide variety of collaborations across popular brands, ranging from special food items like Goldfish and Pop-Tarts to unique Pokemon-themed apparel at Target. Pokemon also revealed a wealth of exclusive merchandise for its big anniversary, including a music player styled after the Game Boy, containing the original soundtracks from the first generation of games. Now, Pokemon is teaming up with Crocs to debut three new designs for the iconic shoe brand, based on some of the franchise’s most beloved creatures.
Pokemon is Getting Three Brand-New Crocs
Crocs recently unveiled three new Pokemon-themed shoe designs inspired by a trio of Gen 1 Pokemon. The newest collaboration with Crocs will add Classic Clogs based on both Pikachu and Gengar, as well as a new Platform Clog inspired by Jigglypuff. Each shoe features unique designs on the sole to represent their types in the Pokemon games, with a lightning bolt on the Pikachu clogs. The Jigglypuff Platform Clog notably boasts a higher price tag than the Pikachu and Gengar designs, priced at $84.99 while the other two designs are set at $79.99. The official website for Crocs does not include a firm release date, though the shoes are expected to release around mid-November 2026.

The three new Pokemon Crocs mark the latest collaboration between the two beloved brands. The Pokemon Company has previously worked with Crocs to create multiple shoe designs inspired by some of its most popular creatures, including a Charizard vs. Blastoise set and Pikachu-themed Crocs for children. Crocs has also released several official Pokemon-themed charms, allowing fans to decorate their Crocs with everything from franchise staples, like Pikachu and Eevee, to newer creatures, such as the Paldea starter Pokemon, Pawmi, and Fidough.
Pokemon‘s 30th anniversary has included franchise-wide festivities, with every part of the series getting in on the celebration. The Pokemon TCG is gearing up to debut its aptly-named 30th Celebration expansion in September, reprinting some of the game’s most iconic cards and debuting the brand-new Futuristic rarity. Pokemon GO celebrated the anniversary with a multitude of its own special events, running the All Out event in March and the upcoming Mega Finale event that will cap off its annual GO Fest in early September. However, the biggest surprise of the anniversary arguably came during the 2026 Pokemon Day presentation.
The Pokemon Company gave fans a major teaser about the future of the franchise’s video games during the 30th anniversary Pokemon Day broadcast. Pokemon Winds and Waves were officially revealed during the livestream, showing off the tropical island region that players will visit in the tenth-generation games. Fans also got their first look at the trio of starter Pokemon in Winds and Waves, showing off the Grass-type Growt, Fire-type Pombon, and Water-type Gecqua. Pokemon should have plenty in store throughout the rest of its 30th anniversary, between new games, collaborations, and more.
