Cyberpunk 2077 Hits New Player Peak Count in Over Two Years
According to the latest Steam player counter data, Cyberpunk 2077 has hit 87,025 concurrent players over the final weekend of June 2026. This is the game’s highest player count on the platform since December 2023, when it hit over 88,000, a few months after the successful launch of its Phantom Liberty DLC. The RPG averages a monthly Steam player count between 20,000 and 30,000, so reaching 87,000 in a few days is an impressive feat. The achievement may be tied to Cyberpunk 2077‘s latest Steam sale until June 25, which saw a 70% discount on the base game, its steepest yet, leaving it at only $17.99. The DLC bundle was also 60% off at $33.10.
